No flying experience required—just curiosity, commitment, and a willingness to help the team.
A cooperative flying club
Members help record operations, launch sailplanes, maintain equipment and facilities, and—when qualified—serve as tow pilots or instructors. In return, club instructors volunteer their time, keeping training accessible.
Membership, fees, and acceptance remain subject to club approval and current policies. Published fees below reproduce the existing club schedule and should be confirmed before payment.
New members can begin at the very start and progress with certificated volunteer instructors.
You pay aircraft operating costs; club instructors do not charge separately for their time.
Field operations are part of the experience—not a chore bolted onto it.
Young aviators
Students can begin learning before they are old enough to solo. FAA rules permit solo glider flight at 14. The club’s junior program is space-available and expects regular participation in Saturday operations.
Student membership offers reduced fees for qualifying members under 24. Junior members learn by helping on the field as well as flying.
